The Story Behind Crazy-Pix
Meet Kieran
Hi, I’m Kieran, the proud owner of Crazy-Pix, which I’ve been running with my partner, Soph, since 2026.
Although we’re the new owners, Crazy-Pix certainly isn’t new to me. I’ve been part of the team since I was 16 years old, so there’s a good chance you’ve already seen me at weddings, corporate events or wedding fayres over the years. Back then, I was affectionately known as “Boy Wonder” (along with a few other nicknames that are probably best left off the website!).
I took a short break while studying for my degree in Technical Theatre at university. After graduating, Soph and I — who also has a degree in Technical Theatre — moved to London to pursue careers within the industry.
A few years later, I heard that Paul and Julie, who had become close friends over the years, had decided it was time to spend more time with their family and were looking to pass Crazy-Pix on to someone who shared their passion for the business.
It didn’t take long to make the decision. In fact, after thinking about it for approximately a few nanoseconds, I think you can probably guess the outcome!
And here we are.
We’re incredibly proud to continue the Crazy-Pix journey, building on the fantastic reputation Paul and Julie created while bringing our own ideas, creativity and passion to every event.

How much does it cost to hire a photo booth?
The cost of hiring a Crazy-Pix photo booth depends on the package you choose, the length of hire and any extras you add, such as guest books, personalised backdrops, extra prints or digital upgrades.

How long do you hire the photo booth for?
Most Crazy-Pix packages are designed around a 3-hour hire period, which gives your guests plenty of time to enjoy the booth throughout your event.
Need something longer? No problem. We can provide extended hire times for weddings, corporate events and larger celebrations.

How much space does a photo booth need?
The space required depends on which Crazy-Pix booth you choose.
As a guide, most setups require approximately 2m x 2m of floor space, plus access to a nearby power supply.
When you book, we will discuss your venue layout and advise on the best position for your photo booth.
Do you travel outside of Newcastle and the North East?
Yes. Crazy-Pix provides photo booth hire across the North East, including Newcastle, Durham, Sunderland, Teesside, Northumberland and surrounding areas.
If your event is further away, please contact us and we can discuss availability and any travel requirements.
How do I book a Crazy-Pix photo booth?
Booking your Crazy-Pix photo booth is simple.
Just complete our enquiry form with your event date, venue and requirements. We will check availability and send you all the information you need.
Once you are happy with your chosen package, we secure your date with a booking payment and your photo booth experience is reserved.
